Description:  This workshop emphasizes the importance of ethical practice to prevent retraumatization and uphold trauma-informed principles.  Ethics will be underscored as the foundation of trauma-informed care and good clinical practices.  Most trauma survivors have experienced trauma due to abuse, neglect, or betrayal from someone in power.  Ethical leadership and ethical practice holds the potential for corrective emotional experiences for individuals receiving services and professionals working in the field.
