Description: COVID-19 has created wide ranging problems across the globe, both from the direct effects of the virus, and indirectly as nations attempt to manage the crisis. As this pandemic has presented a significant shared stressor for the United States, regardless of demographic factors. However, the full impact of the pandemic is yet to be fully understood. This brief workshop will review the results from a national survey that examined areas such as: lockdown effects, emotional impact, employment/income, life stress, and subgroup differences. A resource listing for dealing with COVID-19-related stress will also be provided.
Learning Objectives: By the end of this web-based training, participants will be able to:

Examine the impact of COVID-19 on several areas, including employment, life stress, and emotional wellbeing.

Describe at least five subgroup differences in terms of impact areas.

List at least five possible resources that may be useful during the pandemic.
