Adult Mental Health First Aid - 3/12/20 Online Registration

Become a Certified Mental Health First Aider

Adult Mental Health First Aid is a new public education program designed to teach everyday citizens the skills to help another person who is struggling with a mental health concern or crisis. Participants will:

  • Learn risk factors, warning signs and the impact of mental health concerns 
  • Practice the Mental Health First Aid action plan 
  • Learn local resources for mental health and substance abuse treatment 
  • Receive a comprehensive, user-friendly 136-page manual & certification
 
Date:          Thursday, 3/12/20               Registration Deadline:   Tuesday, 3/10/20

Time:          8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.*  (sign-in begins at 7:45 a.m.)

Location:    Government Services Center, 601 Westtown Road, Room 171, West Chester, PA 19380

 
* Full day class with a break for lunch.  Lunch IS NOT provided.  Please bring a bagged lunch.

Participants must attend ALL 8 HOURS to receive certification.
