Adult Mental Health First Aid - 12/19/19 AND 12/20/19 Online Registration
Become a Certified Mental Health First Aider
Adult Mental Health First Aid is a new public education program designed to teach everyday citizens the skills to help another person who is struggling with a mental health concern or crisis. Participants will:
- Learn risk factors, warning signs and the impact of mental health concerns
- Practice the Mental Health First Aid action plan
- Learn local resources for mental health and substance abuse treatment
- Receive a comprehensive, user-friendly 136-page manual & certification
Dates: Thursday, 12/19/19 AND Friday, 12/20/19
Time: 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM (Sign-in begins at 7:45 AM)
Location: Government Services Center, 601 Westtown Road, West Chester, PA 19380
Registration deadline: Monday, 12/16/19
Participants must attend ALL 8 HOURS to receive certification.
